Harry Brook continues to lead the Test batting list ahead of Steve Smith and Joe Root, while Mitchell Starc remains the No. 1 bowler after his ten-wicket haul against Bangladesh; Ollie Robinson has climbed to third, pushing Jasprit Bumrah — sidelined since mid-July with a knee injury — down to fourth. Rishabh Pant is India’s highest-ranked batter at 7th, with captain Shubman Gill 9th and Yashasvi Jaiswal 11th. Ravindra Jadeja still tops the all-rounder table, where South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder has moved into the top five ahead of Ben Stokes. England have edged up to 102 rating points in the team table; Pakistan slip to 9th and Zimbabwe take the last rated place, with Afghanistan and Ireland currently unrated after playing fewer than the required eight Tests in the cycle.

England and India are level on 269 rating points, with England now ahead on the decimal split and Australia third on 260. In the batting list Abhishek Sharma is 3rd and Tilak Varma 7th, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has climbed to 4th; Varun Chakaravarthy is India’s leading T20I bowler in 8th and Hardik Pandya is 5th among all-rounders.
